Features of Dapp
Open source: This is the ideal factor. All changes to the dApp must be determined by consensus, or a majority of comments from their users. The base code of dApps must be open to scrutiny.
Decentralization: All records of application activities must be stored on a decentralized public Blockchain. This is important to avoid the centralization pitfalls.
Token incentive: Blockchain validators should be encouraged with appropriate rewards in the token of that network.
Protocol: The application community must agree on a cryptographic algorithm to render Proof-of-value. For example, Bitcoin uses Proof of Work (PoW) and Ethereum is currently using PoW and plans to hybrid PoW / Proof of Stake in the future.
