Structure of TRON
TRON is formed by 3 layers including Core Layer, Storage Layer and Application Layer.
- Core Layer: This is the core layer containing crucial elements of TRON as follows:
+ Consensus mechanism: TRON uses the consensus mechanism of Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS).
+ Smart Contract: Smart Contract of TRON is run on TRON Virtual Machine (TVM) and written in Solidity language.
- Storage Layer: This is the distributed storage layer of TRON including 2 storage categories as follows:
+ Chain Storage: TRON uses the LevelDB storage library developed by Google to reduce the storage volume on the blockchain of TRON.
+ State Storage: Using KhaosDB in full-nodes will help TRON to store all blockchains that have recently been created in a certain period.
- Application Layer: This is the layer where the developers can build their Dapps. The fact is that TRON uses Protocol Buffers of Google, the TRON-on Dapps developers can use different programming languages.
